Frequently Asked Questions

Our goal is 100% customer satisfaction. Please take a moment to read the following information on Rocky Mountain Dumpsters waste removal containers. These polices help us provide the most efficient, hassle-free and economic service to you. To avoid additional charges, please follow these rules and laws for safe, prompt service.

What can’t I put in dumpster?

Nothing over 6' in length. By law, we cannot accept any electronics, toxic/hazardous waste (paint, herbicides, pesticides, asbestos, chemicals, oil, tires, fuels or appliances with Freon). See column to the right for more details.

Is there a weight limit?

Yes! All of our dumpster sizes have different weight limits. If this is a concern for your project please contact us to discuss. If you are loading heavy material such as dirt, rock, concrete, brick, sod, shingles, asphalt you will need to contact us for instructions on loading. All overweight loads will be charged $50 ton over weight limit.

Can I fill the container to the top?

All materials must be inside the container, nothing over the top of container. By law we are required to tarp each load for transport. Heavy materials such as dirt, rock, concrete, brick, sod, asphalt should not fill the container over 16 inches from the bottom. All materials that exceed the top of container must be removed. We cannot pick up a container that is over full. You will be responsible for removing excess and a $100.00 return trip fee will be charged to return and pick-up container.

How long can I keep the container?

Price includes a 7 day rental on the 10yd. and 30 day rental on the 18 yd. & 30 yd. dumpsters - if you keep the dumpster beyond that period, an additional fee of $10 a day will apply with a maximum extension period of 30 days. At the end of the 30 day extension period we will service the dumpster and can return it for the initial price.

Will container be picked-up automatically?

No! Please call when container is ready for pick-up. It is your responsibility to give our office a 24-48 hour notice. Contact Chris at ‪(970) 480-7732‬.

Can I move container?

No! We will do our best to place your container in a convenient and safe space, you may not move container. Moving containers causes damage to the underside. If damage occurs, you are responsible for the cost of repair. We do expect normal wear and tear.
